Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Apartment Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot and by vehicle, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control, and complete incident reports with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, alarms, suspicious activity and/or policy violations, and notify the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data hall exterior areas, loading docks, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or building systems as assigned, document observations and report irregular conditions through required logs and incident reports.
• Support entry screening and access control processes such as verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, managing deliveries and coordinating with on-site teams during elevated activity periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
