Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Sales Advisors to drive portfolio revenue growth by assisting Global Treasury Solution Sales Advisors in reviewing and selling our complete range of payment products and services. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Relationship Managers and Advisors, Product Management, and Product Support.

As a Sales Associate, the individual will advance the sales process, close new business, and contribute to our overall revenue goals by pursuing reactive sales opportunities generated through inbound leads and referrals within their advisor portfolio or personal client base.


Responsibilities

* Manage a strategic client portfolio: Generating new revenue, enhancing client retention, and promoting portfolio growth. This includes preparing for client meetings, drafting proposals, conducting competitive analyses, identifying industry trends, and performing follow-up activities with internal and external clients.
* Go-to-Market Strategy: Work independently to better understand client needs and resolve related questions and inquiries. Collaborate with Advisors and relationship teams to cultivate a strategic approach to building client relationships and generating product revenue.
* Sales Structure: Ensure client satisfaction through active partnership with service and implementation teams.
* Sales Positioning and Training: Partner with Product and Sales Enablement teams to provide input on delivering sales positioning and training programs.
* Communication: Facilitate updates and communications across teams to keep everyone informed and aligned.
* Industry Knowledge: Independently develop technical knowledge of the payments industry and advancements in associated technology and best practices to be a thought leader internally and externally for SVB.
* Sales Leadership: Mentor and coach Sales Associates, including training of new Associates


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Banking sales or Treasury Payments OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Banking sales or Treasury Payments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Treasury product knowledge , Client relationship management , Financial analysis , Presentation skills, Basic understanding of treasury operations and payment systems. , Familiarity with financial analysis techniques and regulatory requirements., Understanding of client relationship management in financial services.
