IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role will support the data governance function, with a focus on process and control maintenance, issue management, and metrics monitoring and reporting. The ideal candidate will analyze alignment with financial industry laws, rules, and regulations (LRRs) and engage with stakeholders to identify risks and drive process improvements. This position requires 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

• Support the analysis of current state alignment with Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRRs) applicable to the financial industry
• Support issue writing and action plan development, along with tracking to defined milestones
• Create and update materials for management/governance routines and escalation updates as required
• Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to proactively discuss and identify risks and continuous process improvements
• Provide additional support as needed for audit/regulatory requests, tracking, and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in a Finance, Tech, or Data role
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a self-directed manner
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity, and deliver solutions on deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in performing data analysis tasks
• Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy, with the ability to research issues and identify root causes and patterns
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Desired skills:

• Experience with Data Management Policy and/or Standards
• Data background with Risk/Controls experience

Pay range: $42.09 - $50.09 per hour
