Genesis10 is currently seeking a Developer - Power Platform - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.
As part of a major Digital Transformation initiative, this role will focus on modernizing technology and enhancing a data-driven approach. The ideal candidate will be an experienced developer who can manage all facets of Power Apps development and administration, support the company's SDLC process, and contribute to knowledge sharing as the company expands its use of the Power Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop applications in accordance with best practices
- Administer Power Platform environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist with production support
- Analyze business requirements and create design specifications for new applications and enhancements
- Test, debug, and refine application code based on specified requirements
- Prepare required program-level and user-level documentation
- Provide feedback to team management to ensure development and project deadlines are met
- Participate in knowledge sharing with other developers, including development of canvas and model-driven apps with data sources such as SharePoint Online, Oracle, and SQL Server
Requirements:
- 2+ years of application development experience using the Power Platform (Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficiency in DAX, Javascript, C#, and Typescript
- Knowledge of Connectors, application security, data governance, and application monitoring
- Experience working with waterfall or agile methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Desired skills:
- Experience with Copilot Studio or data modeling
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Azure Storage, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Dataflows, or Power Apps Data Gateways
- Strong communication skills, with experience working directly with different areas of the business
- Financial services or banking industry experience
Pay range: $74.00 - $78.00 per Hour
