The Ansys Customer Excellence team, based in Exton, PA, is committed to providing world-class technical support, empowering customers to integrate advanced simulation tools into their engineering workflows. We're a collaborative group of engineers with deep expertise in Ansys Digital Mission Engineering (DME) products such as Systems Tool Kit (STK), Orbit Determination Tool Kit (ODTK), and Test and Evaluation Tool Kit (TETK). Our mission is to maximize customer success and satisfaction, while continuously improving our software solutions through customer feedback and innovation.

You Are:

You are a passionate engineer eager to apply your knowledge to real-world challenges in aerospace and mission engineering. With a strong academic background in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, you thrive in environments that demand both technical acumen and creative problem-solving. You demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C++, or Java, and have experience or familiarity with simulation and modeling software like Ansys, CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM tools.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deploy your engineering expertise to assist customers in solving complex engineering problems and optimize their use of Ansys products.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Digital Mission Engineering tools such as STK, ODTK, TETK, and DME Components, becoming a trusted resource for customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by enabling successful deployment, adoption, and integration of Ansys simulation software in customer workflows.
  • Submit product improvement suggestions, file defect reports, and verify fixes, actively participating in field testing of new releases to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Support Sales and Marketing as needed by conducting technical demonstrations, webinars, online training sessions, and providing expertise-level assistance to business functions.
  • Participate in strategic team and company initiatives, contributing your skills and insights to drive innovation and enhance the overall customer experience.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)
  • Master's degree (MS) or BS+2 years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Matlab, C++, Java.
  • Experience with Ansys software or other commercial engineering tools (CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM).
  • Logical problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Coursework or experience in astrodynamics, orbit determination, attitude determination and control systems, RF theory, optical engineering, or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) (preferred).
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
