Overview

R&P is looking for a Business Financial Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Business Financial Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.



Responsibilities

    Provide programming, budgeting and execution support
  • Assist the Navy customer in tracking commitments, obligations and expenditures.
  • Support all phases of the DoD Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process including the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM)/PR briefs and issue papers, budget submissions and justification, and the execution of program funding.
  • Interface with HQ personnel, field activities, and contractors to collect, analyze, interpret and collate budget data and justification to support budget submissions.
  • Assist with gathering data and compiling information in response to data calls.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial presentations as directed.


Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Highschool Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years' experience in project managment and shipbuilding.
  • Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process) - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field (Preferred)

Salary
