Requirements/Experience:
This is a great position for someone who loves challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to learn about an exciting business and be part of a successful company with potential career opportunities * Support the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for entities within the ETG * Prepare necessary top-sided journal entries for eliminations or adjustments of foreign GAAP to U.S. GAAP * Serve as a remote Interim Controller for recently-acquired subsidiaries that lack Controller role * Assist with the implementation of internal controls at recently-acquired subsidiaries * Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy * Provide financial and operational support to the HEICO subsidiaries * Observe the year-end physical inventory counts at the HEICO subsidiaries * Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external (SEC) reporting and for use in the preparation of the tax provision and tax return * Perform/assist with other duties and special ad-hoc projects Requirements/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's Degree highly preferred * CPA license preferred * Minimum of four to six years of progressive experience in financial accounting (public and/or industry) * Strong general ledger and inventory cost accounting experience a plus * Knowledge in areas such as intercompany transactions, financial consolidation of multiple subsidiaries, non-controlling interests, purchase accounting and foreign exchange accounting a plus * Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with subsidiary controllers and employees of all levels, including senior management * Strong analytical and Excel skills; able to manipulate high volumes of data * Highly responsive to customer requirements, with a high attention for detail and accuracy * Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team * Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment This is a great position for someone who loves challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to learn about an exciting business and be part of a successful company with potential career opportunities | |
