Department:COM | Peds Allergy ResearchDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Post Doctoral Fellow to contribute to NIH-funded studies advancing innovative approaches to postpartum opioid use recovery. This role will be central to developing and disseminating research examining how infant caregiving behaviors, social relationships, mood, pain, and hormones influence substance misuse during and after pregnancy. The position offers opportunities to expand into related areas such as maternal mental health, infant and child health, and large-scale data analyses using electronic health records and public datasets. Professional development is a strong focus, with mentorship from Dr. Alicia Allen, Director of the National Center for Opioid Research and Clinical Efficacy, and opportunities to strengthen skills in advanced statistical analysis, scientific writing, grant preparation, presentations, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, demonstrate a strong publication record, possess statistical expertise, and be effective communicators and collaborators. Remote work arrangements will be considered, with occasional travel opportunities. This is a one-year appointment, renewable based on funding and performance. Qualifications:
