Job Details: Job Summary: Serves as lead analyst and key liaison, working closely with colleagues and customers to ensure in-house or deployed systems and devices are kept current and functional. Develops strategies for application deployment, manages application installations and configuration and assists other engineering teams with system architectures, design, development and integration. Assures all applications are well behaved and all platforms, OS's (Windows, AIX, UNIX, LINUX, etc) and networks are properly configured to support the production, test and development environments effectively and efficiently. Additionally, ensures all application migrations, upgrades and installations are well rehearsed and documented prior to conducting official installations. This effort requires close coordination with other engineering groups. This position works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements: Four-year college degree, in computer science or related technical field, plus a minimum of eight years systems administration/analyst experience. Master's Degree in related discipline is a plus. Extensive knowledge and experience in maintaining applications, deep understand of Unix-based applications and interdependencies. Knowledge and experience managing networks. Knowledge and experience administrating various Windows and UNIX Operating Systems, including Perl Scripting. Knowledge of databases, including SQL Server and Oracle. Knowledge of SQL in general. In depth understanding of System Administration/Analyst methodology and principles. ITIL experience. Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications. 25% domestic travel is required. Cubic Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $118,000.00 + benefits.The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
