A Day In The Life
The Courier, Vehicle Programs will be under the leadership of the Manager, Vehicle Programs and will provide business essential services to associates and business units in the Friedkin affiliated companies. The Courier, Vehicle will 1) Coordinate the corporate fleet switch-out process 2) pick up and deliver confidential information and/or high value merchandise/products, 3) transport guests and executives of the Friedkin affiliated companies and 4) Coordinate delivery of MSO documents.

As a Courier, Vehicle Programs you will:

  • Coordinate vehicle switch out process including: a. Switch-out schedule application maintenance b. Perform make-ready services on new corporate evaluation units. c. Inspect turn-in evaluation units and ensure participants adhere to all policies d. Provide inspection reporting.
  • Ensure company owned vehicles and company vehicles for executives are maintained.
  • Coordinate and transport evaluation fleet to and from various sites.
  • Transport guests and executives to and from airports, hotels, offices, and private residences during the normal workday, before and after the normal workday, and on weekends and holidays.
  • Manage the physical distribution of mail and packages between the Friedkin Corporate Campus (FCC), the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), the Parts Distribution Center (PDC), and other Friedkin affiliated locations.
  • Perform assigned tasks such as banking deposits/withdrawals; transportation of confidential information and high value merchandise; and corporate asset titling and registrations).
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, executives, business partners and fellow Associates.
  • Timely, consistent and predictable attendance.
  • Safely drive various types of vehicles for extended periods of time and comply with all safety policies and laws.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by management.

What We Need From You

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited school Req
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Required
  • Demonstrate safe, professional level driving/chauffeuring skills
  • Demonstrate ability and previous experience maintaining strict confidentially
  • Demonstrate excellent map reading skills
  • Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Demonstrate excellent customer skills
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with GST policies, TMS operating standards, and applicable federal and state laws
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly and repeatedly required to talk; hear; stand; walk; stoop; kneel/squat, climb, use hands and fingers, to handle, grip/squeeze and/or feel; push/pull and reach with hands and arms. The associate will be frequently required to balance; crouch, or crawl; reach over-head and taste or smell. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, night vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel Requirements
20% The associate is frequently required to drive to other local sites, including out-of-state, where applicable. Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
