Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. You will complete routine rounds, document activity, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor for unusual conditions such as suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or operational hazards, and report findings through required documentation and notification channels.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Control entry to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with observation of cash handling, vault, and/or ATM areas as outlined by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
