What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking lots, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic flow as assigned, verifying authorization for drivers, visitors, and/or vendors and directing them to designated areas according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and log entries regarding patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, using required systems and/or forms and communicating updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
