Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

The Foreign Exchange Middle Office Analyst II at SVB is responsible for supporting the GBMS division by assisting with client enablement, process improvements, and client and trade support. This role requires a basic understanding of FX trade lifecycle, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The analyst will contribute to the evolution of the FX Middle Office team and help support the FX trading and sales teams.


Responsibilities

Client Enablement
*Enable clients for trading across platforms for Global Banking & Market Solutions products
* Support trade execution and provide client support
* Provide front-line support for client inquiries

Risk and Compliance
* Produce reports for limit monitoring and control reporting
* Support audits and controls reviews, providing necessary documentation and data
* Escalate issues in line with internal risk and escalation frameworks

Process Improvement
* Support the implementation of technology solutions to improve efficiency
* Help maintain internal controls and visibility

Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work with teams across the organization including Legal, Compliance, Tech, Risk, and Operations
* Support the Sales and Traders in their daily activities
* Assist in user acceptance testing for system enhancements


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in middle office OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in middle office.

Preferred Qualifications:

Foreign exchange product expertise

Financial systems and platforms
Regulatory reporting and compliance
Data analysis and reconciliation

The base pay for this position is generally between $60,000.00 and $80,000.00 Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
