Rate of Pay: $86,382.00 to $157,300.00 per Year

Duties: Develop solutions leveraging cloud big data technology to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements; interact with internal colleagues and external professionals to determine requirements, anticipate future needs, and identify areas of opportunity to drive data development; develop good understanding of how data will flow & stored through an organization across multiple departments, such as CRM, Broker & Sales, Finance, HR, MDM, ODS & EDW; develop data solutions that enable non-technical staff to make data-driven decisions; develop data management and data persistence solutions for application use cases leveraging relational, non-relational databases and enhancing our data processing capabilities; develop POCs to influence platform architects, product managers and software engineers to validate solution proposals and migrate; support users by developing documentation and responding to inquiries; build data pipelines by bringing large batch datasets from various sources and transforming and optimizing the process; create and develop common functions that are used to clean and transform complex data formats and types; manage and create documentation to support and enhance data pipelines and developments; develop strategic solutions using up-to-date technologies and patterns; utilize data and technologies to derive insights and opportunities; collaborate with various teams to anticipate and identify areas of opportunity to drive data development; support the development of data persistence solutions for application use cases, relational, nonrelational databases and enhancing business data processing capabilities; create processes to assist how data will flow throughout the organization; work with platform architects, product managers, and software engineers to validate solution proposals; and maintain health of data by triaging maintenance issues. May telecommute.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Management and Systems, Database Technologies, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and the completion of a graduate-level/university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one (1) year of experience involving the following:

* Data structures;

* Data modeling;

* Software architecture;

* Big Data using Spark;

* Cloud technologies including AWS and Azure;

* Coding languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or SQL;

* Data pipelines in Cloud; and

* CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Octopus.
