Project Manager, Public Works/Land Development - Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL

Halff has an opening for a Public Works Project Manager, with their Florida PE License, to be our Project Manager with our Land Development team based out of either Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL offices.

The ideal candidate would have at least 4 years of experience with residential AND/OR commercial municipal projects in Land Development design. This position requires strong design experience and awareness of project manager skills.

What you will do:

• Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of municipal Land/Site design projects that may include paving, grading, drainage/storm sewers, water lines, and sanitary sewers
• Conduct and manage design and plan production
• Manage clients and supervise technical staff
• Provide training/mentorship of other engineers

What you will need:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida, or ability to acquire one within 6 months of hire date
• At least 4 years of experience in municipal Land or Site development design
• Experience in Florida
• Strong technical knowledge in municipal and Land or Site design
• Ability to manage Land Development projects and mentor staff
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required
• Experience managing design and plans production
• Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff
• A positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success
