We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team! The salary range for this position is $84,601.44 to $105,750.80 annually based on skills and experience. This position is classified as On-site.
SCOPE:

As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, this role performs a variety of tasks that in partnership with the surrounding departments, provides cost effective financial services for the benefit of our members who are our primary focus. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of all significant corporate projects, including resource utilization, budgets, enforcement of project schedules, appropriate communication to all stakeholders, and the execution of project work plans. Performs system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and to alleviate bottlenecks. Serves as the liaison between the project teams and management.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management


  • Manage project activities, resources, and communications. Follow the organization's project management methodology for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements and document scope; utilize document templates to create project plans, work plans, project schedules, and various registers; schedule and facilitate meetings and monitor risks. Monitor and analyze the project team's progress toward project completion; maintain communication with senior management and escalate changes or issues accordingly, within the assigned level of authority.



Change Management


  • Serve as the Project Management lead for all Credit Union projects such as mergers & acquisitions. Coordinate and track operational change requests; serve as the centralized contact to collect and transmit all requests to the Change Control Board (CCB) in advance of CCB meetings; accurately store all rejected, deferred, and approved requests; coordinate activities associated with completion and track progress toward completion; provide verbal status updates at CCB meetings, as well as written reports, as required.



Reporting


  • Prepare reports for senior management regarding project status(es). Document project progress through status reports and maintain document repositories for the organization's portfolio of projects. Maintain change requests and provide reporting on the change request backlog. Support the organization in managing knowledge through the development and storage of after-action reports and refer to them accordingly.



Other Responsibilities


  • Provide management assistance in developing sound project strategy. Performs system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and to alleviate bottlenecks.
  • Leads the planning and implementation of special projects in company operations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conduct project post implementation reviews.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.



Experience:



  • 3-5 years' experience managing projects of various scope and complexity.
  • The demonstrated ability to accomplish and drive results through others.
  • Must be proficient in managing and forecasting budgets.



Education/Certifications/Licenses:



  • Project Management Professional Certification. Lean Six Sigma a plus.



Interpersonal Skills


  • Experience in effective negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Experience in budget planning, management and reporting
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and obtaining win-win situations.
  • Ability to envision what needs to be done and conceptualize an approach for how to get it done.



Other Skills
Strong decision-making skills, and high emotional intelligence is required. Proficiency in conflict resolution and effective delegation is essential. Exceptional time management and communication skills are vital, along with a commitment to fostering creativity, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement. Adaptability, customer focus, financial acumen, are also necessary for success in this role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. May occasionally need to lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
