Task Order Manager / Task Order Team Lead

Position Summary:
The Task Order Manager/Team Lead is responsible for the overall management and execution of Task Order objectives. This role oversees daily contractor operations and provides direct support to the IT Solutions, Projects, and Requirements sections to ensure compliance with all PWS requirements. The Task Order Manager serves as the primary liaison between contractor staff and Government representatives, reporting directly to both the Communication Systems Officer (CSO) and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee all contractor responsibilities and manage personnel to meet section requirements outlined in the PWS.
  • Support and participate in cross-functional planning for IT Solutions, Projects, and Requirements, ensuring effective inter-section collaboration.
  • Monitor workforce stability and continuity, adjusting schedules as mission requirements dictate in coordination with the COR.
  • Ensure full compliance with key performance parameters including cost-efficiency, schedule, responsiveness, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Government leadership, provide status updates, address issues, and implement resolutions.
  • Utilize Government ticketing systems and ensure issues are managed according to the approved priority matrix.
  • Ensure compliance with Government-furnished equipment and safeguard all Government property.
  • Replace or coordinate replacement of key personnel within 30 days of notification if required

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Management or an IT-related field, or at least six (6) years of relevant experience, clearly defined in the candidate's resume.
  • DoD 8140 approved and registered IAT Level II baseline certification, with preferred Security+ CE certificate, at the time of Task Order start.
  • Must have an active TS-SCI security Clearance.
