About the Role

We are looking for a Highly skilled and motivated commercial professional to join our team as the Regional Category Leader for the Surgical Solutions business. In this role, you will be responsible for setting strategic direction and driving commercial execution across priority markets and customer groups within a disease state portfolio. You will lead the development and activation of regional marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with global category and regional leadership while meeting the unique needs of regional customers, channels, and markets.This role provides leadership to Regional Brand Managers, shared leadership responsibilities to Product Specialists and partners closely with cross functional teams to enable strong business performance, impactful customer engagement, and successful portfolio growth.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, empower and develop Regional Brand Managers, Product Specialists
  • Set strategic direction for priority markets and customer groups within assigned disease states, including regional strategy and market development
  • Define and manage regional investments and performance to targets, monitoring performance and recommending adjustments
  • Develop and execute regional commercial marketing plans in partnership with regional and country teams to meet business objectives
  • Adapt global campaigns and content to regional needs across the U.S., Canada, and Brazil, ensuring relevance and differentiation
  • Engage customers to capture insights, work closely with Sales and Sales Leaders to develop relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Deep market understanding; Integrating customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence to shape strategy and enhance customer engagement
  • Lead segmentation, targeting, and differentiated engagement strategies, including planning conference presence and podium opportunities
  • Ensure development and delivery of highquality portfolio content including MLR review process
  • Oversee sales enablement tools, training, and distributor/dealer partnerships to drive regional commercial performance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial product, marketing, or category leadership experience within medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing commercial marketing strategies across multiple markets or customer segments
  • Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage them through influence in a matrix/lattice environment
  • Strong strategic marketing capability, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, campaign planning, and commercialization
  • Familiarity with MLR processes, content quality expectations, and supporting documentation workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent, including Coaching & Counseling to foster inclusive, equitable team environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, commercial teams, medical education, MarCom, and global category teams
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including conference/podium related experience
  • Ability to interpret and integrate customer insights, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform decisionmaking
  • Ability to develop effective sales enablement tools and trainings for both direct sales teams and distributor partners
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the region and periodically globally
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the Plastic Surgery or Hernia Device Market

This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.

Note: In the United States, restrictions exist for remote work from Alaska, Hawaii and Rhode Island.
