Our client is looking for a Photo & Video Data Labeler to assist their team with evaluating film and television visual assets. This is a 40 hours/week, long-term contract assignment through the end of 2026 and is fully remote. Candidates should be comfortable aligning with US business hours.
Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate still imagery and short-form video clips sourced from film and television titles across technical and creative criteria, including framing, sharpness, composition, and genre/talent representation.
Apply creative and technical guidelines to determine whether assets meet quality and promotional standards.
Label and score imagery and video clips against a defined quality framework, documenting rationale for acceptance or rejection.
Participate in training sessions and ongoing calibration meetings to ensure consistent evaluation standards across the team.
Conduct light research on content genres, storylines, and key characters to support accurate labeling decisions.
Collaborate with a small team of labelers and engage in detailed discussions regarding evaluation choices and taxonomy refinement.
Provide feedback on labeling frameworks and suggest improvements to classification systems and workflows.
Attend project-related meetings and meet productivity and deadline expectations.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience reviewing or curating still imagery, photography, short-form video, or digital creative assets (e.g., marketing artwork, key art, trailers, or promotional clips).
Strong understanding of image composition, asset curation best practices, and technical quality standards for photo and video.
Familiarity with content genres, narrative tone, and talent representation in entertainment media.
Basic knowledge of photo and/or video editing software capabilities and workflows.
Comfortable working in a feedback-driven, collaborative environment.
Ability to manage high-volume review tasks efficiently and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
The pay for this W-2 position is $50-75per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
