Health and Network Solution Intern (Physician Contracting)

Responsibilities:

• Undertakes an internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience
• Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.
• Undertake and/or participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.
• Assisting with the development of physician recruitment plans.
• Performing initial interview and outreach processes to determine provider's eligibility.
• Outreach to recruit eligible providers into applicable Networks.
• Coordinating recruitment activities with project leads.
• Provides detailed tracking of all work, either in process or completed.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Entry Level Role
• Requires High School Diploma
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Analytics/Science, Finance and Health Administration or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Location: 3 Penn Plaza Newark NJ - Hybrid Work Schedule

Schedule: 8am-5pm (9 hour work day with lunch)

Duration: 11 week Summer Internship Program (June 1, 2026 - August 13, 2026)
