BWBR is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with a strong background in healthcare environments to join our growing design team. This role focuses on creating functional, safe and inspiring spaces that support patient care, staff efficiency and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has strong design skills to bring creative excellence as well as technical expertise in healthcare design.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the interior design of healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities, and specialty care environments.

* Develop design concepts, space plans, and material palettes that align with clinical needs, patient experience, and evidence-based design principles.

* Produce and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and finish schedules.

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, medical planners, and other designers throughout all project phases.

* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

* Participate in client presentations, design reviews and quality assurance processes.

* Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on material and FF&E selection.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

* Support construction administration, including submittal reviews and site visits.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

* 8+ years of professional interior design experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years focused on healthcare projects.

* Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, regulations, and best practices.

* Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office software.

* Demonstrated experience developing construction documents and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently and mentor less experienced designers.

* NCIDQ certification (or actively pursuing) preferred.
