TITLE Chief Artificial Intelligence Strategist JOB SUMMARY The Chief Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategist serves as the academic leader focused on institution-wide AI strategy and implementation. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost with dotted line reporting to the Chancellor, this role is responsible for envisioning and executing initiatives that leverage AI to advance teaching, research, and administrative operations. The Strategist fosters collaboration across academic and administrative units, builds external partnerships, and ensures ethical, inclusive, and effective use of AI technologies across the university. Work is performed with minimal supervision. Performance is evaluated based on the effective operation of administrative functions, using the university's performance evaluation system and in accordance with University Policies & Procedures. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
