The Technical Consultant I is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable seamless interaction between multiple applications through unified interfaces or dashboards. The scope of this job includes establishing connections, protocols, and standards that allow disparate applications to exchange data, share resources, and collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to gather comprehensive information about existing solution systems, interfaces, and data sources, and support tasks throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Document general details of the current system landscape, including solution applications, interfaces, and data sources, and identify constraints, limitations, and dependencies that may impact integration efforts.
  • Create and complete interface components and integration solutions for routine projects using foundational knowledge of programming languages, with guidance from senior consultants as needed.
  • Participate in testing and validating integrated interfaces and troubleshoot technical issues by identifying root causes and contributing to resolution.
  • Train client IT staff on system administration basics, such as user account management and solution installation, while expanding training to include fundamental concepts related to network configuration, server maintenance, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Regularly communicate project updates and meet with clients to explain technical complexities, build trust in WellSky's capabilities, and discuss deliverables, challenges, and project changes.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 0-2 years relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing software solutions, including configuring applications and supporting data integrations.
  • Foundational SQL knowledge, with the ability to write basic queries and interpret database structures.
  • Exposure to APIs, including understanding how data is exchanged between systems.
  • Demonstrated creative problemsolving skills, initiative, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with guidance.
  • Strong clientfacing communication skills with the ability to build rapport, explain technical concepts, and help drive successful implementations.

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 50% based on business needs
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
