Position Overview: Medscape (a division of WebMD) is looking to hire an Associate Director within the Impact & Insights team to support its growing HCP insights and measurement business within the US and Global markets. The Associate Director will play an important role in generating actionable insights, collaborating with the Impact Product leader to implement and improve products and the analytics and clinical strategy and sales team to generate and deliver impact and insights stories.

  • Under the supervision of the Director, Impact & Insights, execute the vision for impact and insights measurement
  • Supervise and mentor 3+ managers and analysts
  • Partner with Sales and Management teams in defining, implementing and delivering analytical capabilities for Medscape's US and Global business
  • Provide oversight and hands-on management to strategic deals throughout their life cycle across pre-sale, post-sale execution and measurement, and renewal stages
  • Partner with colleagues on cross-functional teams (e.g. data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, audience engagement, marketing, product) to deliver funded reports and presentations
  • Conduct thorough analyses of initiative performance and strategy to generate actionable intelligence and clearly communicate and present insights to stakeholders and via reports
  • Develop sound understanding of Medscape Education's product portfolio, historical performance according to various therapeutic categories and audience segments, promotional impact measurement methodology, and data capabilities of various analytics partners
  • Leverage learnings and best practices from current business to expand similar capabilities into other parts of the business
  • Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Create recommendations and action plans for solving problems
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (or equal number of work experience)
  • 6+ years relevant experience within analytics, outcomes reporting, data reporting, etc. within the digital healthcare industry
  • Experience with claims /real-world evidence data
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • High energy, disciplined self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership skills
  • Experience in impact measurement and insights generation
  • Experience interpreting statistical analyses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree
  • Advanced experience with Tableau workbooks and dashboards
  • Experience in healthcare-related fields or education
  • Experience in program evaluation, applied research
  • Experience conducting and guiding statistical analyses
