Who you are

You are a current student with a strong interest in commercial real estate who is ready to join our dynamic Bay Area Valuation team. You are someone who is looking to build a career in the real estate industry and gain experience from a talented team at an international full service real estate firm. You're highly organized and have a keen eye for details, ensuring a high standard of quality in everything you do. You bring a client service-oriented attitude, who thrives in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment. You will assist with research, data analysis, market overview, property analysis, data entry, and will have the opportunity to participate in real estate valuation. You thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. You also love to learn, collaborate, and exchange ideas with others to achieve amazing results.

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in Real Estate or Urban Planning through educational focus or extracurricular activities
  • A high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Proficiency with MS Office including MS Excel.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Previous experience working within a real estate or professional services environment.
  • What success looks like
  • You will conduct detail research of commercial real estate (availability, ownership, zoning, restrictions, tenant, and transaction information) utilizing internal and external resources.
  • You will assist with survey calling to obtain accurate information on past and active transactions.
  • You will be able to go on property inspections and get a first-hand look at a variety of property types.

Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $20/hour

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
