Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Build and maintain solutions for automation, management and control of the financial forecast for the client Work with modern and emerging technologies such as Java, Angular, Docker and Kubernetes to build highly scalable web applications that greatly improve and integrate the financial forecast preparation, review and publication process for our 300+ CFO users and the businesses they support Design, develop and test new capabilities for our existing ForecastConnect application as well as update and configure our devops tools and environments that our broader software teams use for development and integration Requirements: A talented and highly motivated Senior technical lead and DevOps engineer with a strong background in Application design development as well as managing container based infrastructure Strong experience in the design and development of containerized software solutions REST APIs CI/CD Jenkins Spring boot 2.x/3.x Spring Data JPA Java 8/11/17 Hibernate Spring Cloud Microservices Architecture Maven Git Oracle/MySQL Junit 5 Mockito OpenShift Performance tuning Java/Spring Security Scalability Desired skills: Strong communication skills Fluent in corporate finance and accounting terminology Collaboration and leadership in a large team environment Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
