RK&K is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support our growing civil engineering and construction practices in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you will help ensure the firm meets all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while supporting licensing, safety, and contractual compliance across our projects. Working closely with project managers, HR, Legal, Safety, and external agencies, you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of integrity and operational excellence that define RK&K throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Essential Functions



  • Coordinate business compliance requirements, including maintaining state licenses, registrations, and certifications needed for the firm to operate.
  • Analyze/collect data for completion and submission of Monthly Payment Verification Reports
  • Track deadlines and prepare submissions for corporate and professional licensing applications and renewals.
  • Support safety compliance by maintaining training records, certifications, and required regulatory documentation.
  • Assist with preparing compliance reports and supporting internal or external audits.
  • Maintain compliance trackers and dashboards to monitor business, safety, and projectrelated obligations.
  • Communicate compliance requirements, updates, and deadlines to internal teams.
  • Assist in improving compliance processes, workflows, and documentation across departments.


Required Skills and Experience



  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of compliance experience OR an Associate's degree in Business or related field
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Internship experience in compliance, project coordination, or administrative support, preferably within engineering, construction, or professional services.
  • Experience supporting civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for publicsector, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience using project management or compliance tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting engineering or construction industries.

Salary Range: 25.50/hr - 27.50/hr
