We are seeking an experienced full time (40 hour/week) RN with prior phone triage experience to support a hybrid nursing team. This is a strictly phone-based triage role. The role is hybrid, requiring at least one day per week in the office, with a greater on-site presence during the first few weeks for onboarding. Schedule options include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts (8:00-4:30). Epic experience is a strong plus. Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Education Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. - Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
