Description
The Strength Fellow will play a key support role within the Health and Performance Department of the Minnesota Vikings by assisting in the implementation of all aspects of the strength and conditioning program. The Fellow will also spend time within the Sports Science lab of Training HAUS in addition to aiding in NFL Combine prep at Training HAUS each winter. This role can expect to receive experience with coaching and training session execution, Sports Science data collection and interpretation, strength and conditioning program design principles, return to play progressions and athlete monitoring systems, and exposure to a professional organization and facility operations within a high-performance environment. This is a full-time position (variable hours depending on need) working out of our Eagan location. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the implementation of strength and conditioning sessions, including coaching support, logistical set-up, and execution under the supervision of the full-time staff.
- Assist in on-field preparation and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is organized, functioning, and safe for use.
- Support the set-up and breakdown of weight room sessions, contributing to smooth training flow and high session quality.
- Assist in the implementation and interpretation of sport science assessments, including readiness measures, performance testing, monitoring technologies, and athlete profiling.
- Support data hygiene and logistical needs of performance data to maintain accuracy and consistency across all athlete monitoring systems.
- Serve as the lead for weekly facility upkeep and maintenance, ensuring the weight room, storage areas, and field equipment remain clean, functional, and professionally presented.
- Lead daily equipment sanitation protocols following all training sessions, contributing to athlete safety and professional hygiene standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required, master's degree preferred in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, or Data Analytics
- Certifications relevant to position/degree including but not limited to CSCS, PES, and SCCC

- Compensation for this position will be $50,000 annually.

Working Conditions:
- Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
- Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
