GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager - Integration Management acts as the PM for the Integration team and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking the successful integration of acquired optometry/ophthalmology practices into the brand. This role serves as the central point of coordination between the teams, practice owners, corporate functions, and external vendors to ensure smooth transitions while maintaining clinical quality, patient experience, and operational continuity.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage and track end-to-end integration projects for newly acquired optometry/ophthalmology practices, from pre-close planning through post-close stabilization
  • Develop and maintain detailed integration project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including operations, HR, IT, finance, and MSO teams
  • Track progress against integration goals and escalate risks or delays proactively
  • Facilitate regular integration status meetings with internal teams and practice leadership
  • Prepare executive-level updates, dashboards, and post-integration reports
  • Lead the team and actively participate in the development and execution of conversion plans to ensure successful completion of each PC transition.
  • Manage multiple conversions simultaneously; each may be in a different phase of completion. Provide continuous follow-up and support for past conversions.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with all brand team members, field leadership and corporate departments.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to identify risks, develop and evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive outcomes.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives
  • Ensure efficient use of time, people, and materials
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports
  • Provide regular project status updates and executive summaries
  • Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience with optometry, ophthalmology, dental, or physician practice management
  • Prior experience in private equity-backed or acquisitive healthcare organizations
  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in retail or specialty retail
  • Experience in retail field operations or healthcare environment
  • Strong organizational skills - project management, time management and prioritizing
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, listening and presentation
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously keeping to deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 25% in North America
