PURPOSE OF POSITION: Providing administrative support for the operations of our lift maintenance shop. This position is critical to ensuring an efficient workflow by managing work orders, tracking lift repairs, and serving as the primary point of contact for shop-related needs. Maintaining accurate records, the Lift Maintenance Administrator contributes to the overall success and productivity of the shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work Orders and Documentation:

  • Write and manage detailed work orders for all lift maintenance needs and equipment entering the shop.
  • Ensure repair notes and parts information are thorough, accurate, and up to date.
  • Track and monitor lift repair costs, status reports, and downtime using fleet management software.


Inventory and Purchasing:

  • Assist with maintaining parts inventory and participate in quarterly inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure necessary parts and supplies are ordered promptly.
  • Monitor parts orders and follow up with vendors and suppliers as needed.


Operational Support:

  • Track lift maintenance locations and assignments within the department.
  • Assist with managing shop equipment, supply needs, and facility organization.
  • Provide hands-on assistance in the shop when needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role within a repair shop is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of lift maintenance and equipment repair is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and vendors.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

PAY RATE:

Pay: $20-25 per hour, dependent on experience
