As a Security Officer Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and helpful service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall environment.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help to deter theft, trespass, and other policy violations, reporting concerns through approved communication channels.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate significant events to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
