Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and document observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, yards, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related and operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and screen visitors, vehicles, and deliveries as required; verify identification and/or authorization, issue badges when assigned, and document entries and exits per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical events, and fire-related notifications, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, perform security-related checks of doors, gates, and equipment, and communicate status updates to supervision and client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
