What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter; observe for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations and report findings.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspected theft, medical calls, and alarm activations; request law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, verify identification and/or delivery credentials when applicable, and assist with loss prevention support by documenting observed activity and maintaining accurate incident reports.
• Carry authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies; complete required checks, shift documentation, and chain of command notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
