Ensure the accuracy of inter-company interests for accrual, forecasting, and reconciliation by maintaining up-to-date records and providing comprehensive reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Land and Division Orders to track and report inter-company interests for accurate cross-departmental reporting
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for inter-company interests' management
- Design and maintain quality control reporting to monitor policy and procedure effectiveness.
- Reconcile inter-company interests with systems such as SAP, ProCount, and Aries
- Oversee payout status for carried scenarios and maintain estimated APO inter-company interests
- Review pending Division Order revisions and Land/Legal settlements, communicating anticipated adjustments to relevant departments
- Update inter-company interests in real time to reflect A&D activity and inform other departments
- Review and provide analysis of inter-company interest-related prior period adjustments, along with recommendations for appropriate remedial actions
- Educate Land Administration, Land Leaders, and other teams on the impact of inter-company interest changes
- Ensure SOX compliance for inter-company interest controls
- Support the Legal Department with litigation related to owner interests and revenue payments.
- Perform additional projects as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 20+ years in revenue, land admin, or legal roles (or combination)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Track record of process improvement
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical ability with large data sets
- Effective research skills across multiple sources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Works independently and with teams
- Experienced with SAP and QLS systems
- Communicates clearly across all levels
- Maintains integrity and professionalism
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities
