The Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) team is a global engineering organization thatworks directly with customers looking to leverage the latest technologies to address theirtoughest challenges. We work closely with our customers' engineers to jointly develop code for cloud-basedsolutions that can accelerate their organization. We work in collaboration with Microsoftproduct teams, partners, and open-source communities to empower our customers to domore with the cloud. We develop solutions side-by-side with our customers throughcollaborative innovation to solve their challenges. This work involves the development ofbroadly applicable, high-impact solution patterns and open-source software assets thatcontribute to the Microsoft platform. We are hiring a Principal Technical Program Managerto help drive high-impact engineeringprojects with our customers and their partners, transforming their missions using AI andother cloud-based solutions and services.TPMs identify and define the relevant customerscenarios, orchestrate the engineering approach to address these, and developthe end-to-end user stories with internal and external stakeholders,fulfilling the Product Ownerrole.You will be part ofa cross-functional teamof software engineers, data scientists,technical program managers, and designerswho work side-by-side with high-impact andstrategic customers and their engineers to build innovative solutions. Responsibilities You will partner with Software Engineering, Data Scientists, Designers, and SMEs todesign complex technical solutions across feature areas. You'll also give keystakeholders data-driven recommendations based on identified risks. You'll define success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiplefeature areas for highly complex cross-functional projects. You'll coordinate andensure alignment across the business. You will deliver on roadmap for multiple feature groups across divisions, trackproject schedules, drive development of staging and implementation plans, andlead governance programs. You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and writing testcases from scratch. You'll also provide expertise needed for departments to collectperformance metrics, lead customer support, and define and lead direct customerengagements. Embodies ourcultureandvalues. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Additional or preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). #ISEngineering #WSS Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
