Architecture Library Engineer

This role is responsible for maintaining the quality, accuracy, and consistency of electrical architecture documentation across vehicle programs. The focus is on documentation control, change management, and process improvement to ensure downstream engineering teams can rely on accurate and up-to-date architectural data.

Scope:

* Maintain and improve the quality and consistency of architecture documentation and Device Transmittals (DTs) across all programs.
* Conduct regular audits of architecture documentation to identify errors, missing data, and inconsistencies.
* Act as a quality gate to prevent downstream errors and rework for EDS, module, and vehicle teams.
* Monitor incoming change requests and ensure architecture documentation is updated accurately and on schedule.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to verify changes are correctly reflected across all related artifacts.
* Support development of tools and processes to manage increasing program variants.
* Identify opportunities to streamline documentation workflows and reduce process bottlenecks.
* Assist in defining standard operating procedures to maintain documentation quality as programs scale.

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automotive Technology, or similar), or equivalent practical experience in technical documentation control.
* Experience reading, maintaining, and validating technical documentation, particularly electrical architecture artifacts or device transmittals.
* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in complex technical data.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with EDS, module, and vehicle teams to resolve documentation issues.

Pluses:

* Experience with automotive electrical architecture or wiring harness design (EDS).
* Familiarity with change management processes and tracking tools such as Jira, bug tracking systems, or spreadsheets.
* Experience supporting tool or process development to improve workflow efficiency.
* Ability to work independently to identify documentation bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
* Experience using SysML for systems modeling or architectural design.

Estimated Min Rate: $30.00
Estimated Max Rate: $40.00
