Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Making jigs, fixtures, gages, cutter grinding, and occasional production work to help achieve company goals
*Making repairs and modifying existing machinery, fixtures and gages as needed
*Operate all toolroom equipment including milling machines, lathes and surface grinders
*Read & interpret blueprints
*Use of precision measurement equipment
*Taking a project or assigned job and completing it in a timely manner while communicating with the designers and engineers to solve any related issues to keep production running
*Responsible for inspection reports to ensure quality products
*CNC programming using MasterCam and GibbsCam

Education/Experience & Skills:
*Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
*Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS or similar CAD system.
*Good working knowledge of materials and heat-treating processes.
*Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
*Must be organized, able to work in a team, plan, and execute multiple projects.
*Written and verbal communication of complicated subjects is required.
*Must be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
*Must have strong analytical skills, basic manufacturing process knowledge, and basic project management skills.

Working Conditions:
*Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
*Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
*Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
*Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
