Job Summary

AMSTAT, Inc., a subsidiary of CAMP Systems International Inc., is the global leader in researched market intelligence for the business aviation industry. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Sales Director to join our senior leadership team at our Eatontown, NJ headquarters.

This role is a key member of the management team, responsible for driving revenue growth while gathering market intelligence that helps shape the future direction of AMSTAT's products and services. The Sales Director will lead sales strategy and execution for AMSTAT's market-leading, web-based data solutions, ensuring the company remains top of mind for organizations seeking authoritative business aviation insights.

AMSTAT's sales are primarily B2B, serving both small businesses and multinational enterprises, with subscribers typically at the senior manager or executive level. This position requires a hands-on sales leader with deep experience in SaaS or data services, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities



  • Serve as a core member of the senior leadership team, contributing to company strategy, tactical planning, and long-term revenue growth
  • Own revenue performance and pipeline health across assigned markets and regions
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine the overall sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including quota attainment, pipeline coverage, win rates, and sales cycle length
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, verticals, and revenue streams
  • Directly drive global subscription growth for AMSTAT's web-based applications
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
  • Lead and support complex or high-value deal negotiations through contract close
  • Optimize sales processes and ensure consistent use of sales tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Coordinate with marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and resources with sales goals
  • Represent AMSTAT at key trade shows, industry events, and internal and external business meetings in the U.S. and abroad
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sales standards



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful experience selling SaaS, software, or data services
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience guiding company or business-unit direction
  • Aviation industry experience strongly preferred (5+ years ideal)
  • Proven ability to execute consultative sales strategies and close complex deals
  • Experience developing and implementing creative and effective sales strategies
  • Strong background working trade shows and industry events
  • Highly detail-oriented, persistent, and results-driven, with a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot (direct or indirect) a plus
  • High ethical standards and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
