Jack Henry is seeking a Commercial and Corporate Travel Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of our commercial travel operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customer service, as well as a solid understanding of commercial travel operations. We are looking for someone to step into and develop into a people leader, while maintaining business operations for commercial travel across the organization.

This position is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week in the Monett, MO office location.

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Coordinates the activities of the travel staff and communicates pertinent information to employees and resolves any scheduling issues.
  • Ensures that counselors maintain training to be competent and confident in their job duties.
  • Trains, mentors and grows travel counselor staff in preparation for advanced roles and duties.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate or commercial travel would be helpful.
  • Works closely with Senior Manager keeping leadership informed of priorities, needs and problems. Maintains day-to-day records and reports of progress.
  • Assists in the development, documentation, and execution of company travel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of travel data.
  • Serves as a liaison between the outside travel management companies and the corporate travel department. Responsible for coordinating activities with on-site contractors or outsourced resources providing travel services.
  • Performs Quality Control evaluations to ensure safety, customers are taken care of in a timely manner and compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Assists travelers with escalated issues pertaining to their travel.
  • Arranges transportation, lodging, accommodations, and other travel services for company employees when additional help is needed at busy times.
  • Evaluates and makes decisions for corporate air travel; updates and creates flight schedules, reviews weight and balance restrictions and FBO selections to schedule flights and resolves issues, schedules pilots keeping in mind flight configuration and AMP restrictions, coordinates information concerning flight activity (delayed flights, weather issues and other issues) and communicates to flight crews, passengers and maintenance and ground handlers as necessary.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in customer or travel service.
  • Must be able to travel 10% and available to be onsite in our Monett, MO office location on an as needed basis.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple projects.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • 2 years of experience in travel operations.
  • Prior leadership or management experience.
  • Ability to apply business and management principles involved coordinating people and resources.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
