Description Acara Solutions is seeking a direct hire Staff Accountant to join our client in Buffalo, NY. Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, 100% on site Salary: $55,000-$65,000K, DOE As the Staff accountant you will support the CFO and finance team by handling daily accounting and bookkeeping activities and helping ensure the firm's financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant. Key Responsibilities: Support firm management with accounting and financial information Client billing: preparing and processing invoices Accounts payable: entering bills, tracking payments, and processing expenses Compliance reporting: helping prepare required financial or regulatory reports Bookkeeping: maintaining accurate financial records in accounting software General accounting support: assisting with reconciliations, documentation, and financial data as needed Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all financial records Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of related experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience using accounting software and common tools such as Microsoft Office (including SharePoint) and Adobe PDF Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and general finance tasks Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Prior experience handling financial tasks in a professional setting preferred Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
