Role Description

The Poultry Vaccine Delivery Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, execution of vaccine delivery, inventory /order management systems and assist with training and evaluation of administration programs. This role ensures efficient, timely, and equitable delivery of vaccines to target populations, working closely with the Poultry Account Management, Global Manufacturing & Supply and Managed Service teams. The manager will manage logistics, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with customer expectations, safety standards and regulations. This role will report into the Director of Managed Services and will work closely with the Poultry Sales Leadership Team. Ideal location for this role is Tennessee but other Central US States near a major airport hub may be considered.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage logistics including storage, transportation, and inventory control of vaccines, maintaining cold chain

integrity and delivery timeline expectations.

* Develop and implement comprehensive vaccine delivery strategies and operational plans to optimize

customer experience. Monitor vaccine delivery progress, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform

stakeholders and drive decision-making.

* Utilize availability with direct reports to assist in support of vaccine application practices and customer

complaint resolution. Organize training and capacity-building initiatives for account management, GMS and

delivery staff.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards. Identify and

resolve challenges, such as supply shortages, regulatory restrictions, fleet vehicles, Liquid nitrogen (LN2)

equipment and inventory management ensuring efficient vaccine delivery and customer engagement.

* Manage budgets, resources, and timelines related to vaccine delivery projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field required
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement
  • Minimum of 5 years of planning/scheduling experience utilizing a logistics planning system or related experience
  • Poultry industry knowledge and people management experience preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and initiative
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of logistics and regulatory standards

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability for nontraditional work hours as needed
  • Periodic travel required (30-50% of the time)
  • Some work in a poultry hatchery environment may be necessary, where above-average heat and humidity are common
