This role is based in our Boston office. About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated, year-round marketing strategies for our portfolio of events. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering impactful campaigns that drive audience engagement and business growth. Key Responsibilities Campaign Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and event-specific goals.
- Create and manage detailed campaign plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery across all initiatives.
- Lead multi-channel demand-generation campaigns, including digital advertising, paid media, email marketing, social media, and media partnerships.
- Craft compelling, audience-specific messaging and creative for websites, email campaigns, advertising, and promotional materials.
- Leverage AI tools and prompt writing to enhance efficiency and maximize campaign performance.
- Ensure consistent application of value propositions, positioning, and brand standards across all marketing assets.
Partnerships & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and manage relationships with external partners to ensure successful marketing activations.
- Collaborate with Informa marketing leads across verticals and shared services to identify and execute partnership opportunities.
- Align messaging and strategies across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure consistency.
Insights & Analysis
- Analyze campaign performance and marketing data to evaluate effectiveness, optimize spend, and improve ROI.
- Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and customer segments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine personas and tailor messaging.
- Track and report performance trends, using insights to continuously improve campaign strategies.
Reporting & Budget Management
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports and performance updates for stakeholders, highlighting results, insights, and ROI.
- Manage marketing budgets for assigned events, including planning, tracking, and reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven B2B marketing role.
- Proven ability to independently manage and deliver complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the full marketing lifecycle, including planning, operations, execution, marketing automation, AI-enabled tools, optimization, and budget management.
- Experience building, growing, and segmenting marketing databases.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing (PPC, SEO, display, and paid social) and content marketing.
- Creative and strategic problem-solver who challenges conventions and brings fresh ideas to audience engagement.
- Adept at balancing high-level strategy and ROI with detailed execution.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across marketing, sales, operations, design, production, and senior management teams.
- Ability to travel to events as needed
