The Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, teaching and scholarship. Clinical responsibilities will be weighted on applicants scholarship and other non-clinical pursuits.

Qualified candidates will be experienced pediatric intensivists, board-certified in pediatrics and/or pediatric intensive care medicine with a proven track record of academic achievement in a specific area of focus. Methodologic expertise of interest for the Division include implementation science, clinical trial design, and translational science. Focus areas of interest include precision medicine for sepsis or organ failure, neurocritical care, sedation practice, and anesthesia-critical care. Evidence of leadership roles will be favored. Faculty rank is commensurate with the applicant's status and training and will be determined based on Northwestern University criteria: Instructor through/to Professor are welcomed. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $277,583 - $393,000.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
