The Opportunity
  • Adobe is seeking an experienced transactional legal counsel to join our Adobe Global Partner Legal team as Senior Legal Counsel. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide outstanding legal expertise for our innovative Digital Media and Digital Experience products. You will be an essential part of a dynamic team, working closely with highly experienced professionals to facilitate strategic partnerships and business development transactions. What you'll Do
  • Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and lead a wide variety of agreements, including strategic partnerships, custom outbound partnerships, technology licenses, and strategic vendor agreements.
  • Help drive and structure various Digital Media product-related agreements and programs.
  • Cultivate knowledge in our Digital Media and Digital Experience solutions (including AI) to offer support through outbound partnerships (and inbound partnerships where needed).
  • Evaluate and successfully implement continuous improvements for standard terms, templates, and legal processes.
  • Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape.
  • Build positive relationships and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues.
What you need to succeed
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one state bar.
  • 10+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly with complex commercial and technology agreements, and some in-house experience preferred.
  • Proven drafting skills and experience leading complex deal negotiations.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to frame complex legal issues succinctly and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Dedication to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal and business advice.
  • Proven creative problem-solving capabilities, good business instincts and the ability to apply common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice.
  • Excellent cross-functional skills and ability to work well with internal colleagues (including those in different time zones).
  • Collaborative, can-do attitude, genuine, owns the outcome, and a desire to be the best colleague you can be to make an impact on and build an exciting career at Adobe.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $176,300 -- $319,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $220,500 - $319,200

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
