The Opportunity

This is a high-impact opportunity to join Adobe's Cloud FinOps program, where we help teams understand, optimize, and make smarter decisions about cloud usage and investment. We work closely with finance, engineering, product, and leadership to drive meaningful cost efficiency-while building systems, dashboards, frameworks and processes that scale.

We're looking for someone eager, analytical, and organized. Deep cloud expertise is helpful-but curiosity, grit, along with breaking problems down and building solutions, matter more. This will an opportunity for someone who enjoys consulting-style problem solving and automation.

The Challenge

As a FinOps Cloud Analyst, you'll play a central role in how cloud efficiency data is created, shared, and acted on across Adobe-directly contributing to savings initiatives with millions of dollars in impact.

  • Design and run processes that collect, analyze, and distribute cloud cost, usage and efficiency metrics across every product team in Adobe
  • Build automation that helps reduce manual work using your familiarity with tools our engineers use (SQL, Python, Cursor, Tableau). Create dashboards when needed.
  • Help shape operating strategies for cloud optimization-identifying data, opportunities, and risks and turning insights into executable programs with landmark based roadmaps
  • Support internal "customers" by answering questions, surfacing trends, and proactively delivering the information teams need
  • Model financial impacts of cloud infrastructure and operating decisions and present insights to key decision makers
  • Gain exposure to executives and teams across all products and roles
  • Take full responsibility for your results - Be trusted to figure things out and build how FinOps operates

Key Skills and Experience Needed:

  • General: Capabilities across customer insights development, strategy creation, cross-functional leadership and program execution
  • Program Management: Ability to simultaneously oversee and lead multiple cloud business initiatives with high organizational skills. Ease in collaborating with finance, engineering and product managers to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Comfort in proposing / correcting pathways.
  • Technical Proficiency: You know your way around some current process automation tooling and are eager to learn new engineering tools easily to make speed to output faster.
  • Finance & Analytics: Solid grasp of financial modeling and budgeting. Love numbers and Excel. Comfort working with ambiguity and can synthesize information into numbers with ease.
  • Customer Engagement: Skilled at building trust, influencing without authority, and soliciting feedback to incorporate into programs and communications. Not afraid to ask questions to get clarity or seek executive guidance/support to overcome roadblocks.
  • Executive Communication: An uncanny ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to present thoughtful decisions and opportunities.
  • Grit: Demonstrated perseverance through complex challenges and the ability to turn incomplete information into actionable decisions.

    What is needed to succeed:

    • BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, with equivalent experience considered. MBA is a plus or equivalent working experience
    • 5+ years of experience in finance, analytics, consulting, or program management
    • Project/Program management experience (PMP certification not required)
    • Consulting experience preferred
    • High proficiency in Power Point, Excel and Jira - Tableau, SQL a plus
    • History of working with large data sets and managing multiple concurrent work streams.
    • Gain exposure to executives and teams across all products and roles
    • Develop highly transferable skills in cloud economics, analytics, and AI-enabled work
    • Own your outcome - You'll be trusted to figure things out and shape how FinOps operates
    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $105,700 -- $211,850 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
    In California, the pay range for this position is $146,300 - $211,850
    In New York, the pay range for this position is $146,300 - $211,850
    In Washington, the pay range for this position is $131,700 - $190,650

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
