Position Overview The Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategic execution of integrated marketing initiatives designed to drive brand awareness and optimize revenue generation. This role is pivotal in maintaining the resort's commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences and sustained financial profitability. By overseeing cross-departmental marketing plans-encompassing event production, public relations, and promotional campaigns-the Assistant Director ensures seamless brand alignment and operational excellence across Group Sales, Food & Beverage, and Revenue Management. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution: Support the design and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies, seasonal campaigns, and high-impact property activations.
- Interdepartmental Synergy: Partner with department heads to identify revenue opportunities and execute targeted marketing initiatives that drive departmental growth.
- Brand & Media Relations: Collaborate with Public Relations teams to refine brand storytelling, oversee press release distribution, and maintain a consistent media presence.
- Project Management: Oversee marketing calendars, activation timelines, and the successful rollout of new amenities and property-wide initiatives.
- Digital Leadership: Lead the strategy for social media content, digital advertising campaigns, and the management of all high-resolution photography and video assets.
- Partnerships & Influencers: Spearhead the ideation and management of strategic brand partnerships and influencer programs to expand market reach.
- Performance Management: Supervise and mentor marketing team members, ensuring professional development and the timely delivery of all projects.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor assigned marketing budgets, manage vendor/agency relationships, and oversee invoice tracking and ROI reporting.
- Digital Integrity: Ensure all digital platforms, website content, and OTA listings are accurate, optimized for SEO, and reflective of current brand standards.

Candidate Profile Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience within the hospitality, entertainment, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and presenting to executive leadership or ownership groups.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Digital Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of major social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and digital analytics.
- Software: Expert-level proficiency in MS Office Suite; Adobe Creative Cloud experience is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional copywriting, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: A proactive, data-driven problem solver with the ability to navigate fast-paced environments and pivot strategies based on market demand.
