We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Supervisor to join our Cloud support team. In this role, you will work with a dynamic group of engineers to build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure. You will play a key part in Linux-based systems, developing automation scripts, and working within cloud environments, both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within AWS and Azure to provision, configure, and maintain Linux-based server environments.
  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux environments (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Linux-related incidents and problems.
  • Manage kernel updates, patching, system tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Design and maintain automation pipelines using Ansible, Python and Bash.
  • Support the deployment and management of containerized and non-containerized applications.
  • Handle support cases in an on-call environment.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, operational KPIs, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (cloud, networking, storage, DevOps, security) to troubleshoot and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to capacity planning, system lifecycle management, and environment standardization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on Linux system administration or engineering experience.
  • 1-3 years in a supervisory, team lead, or senior-level support role.
  • Strong proficiency with enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Strong scripting skills (Ansible or Bash required; Python or similar preferred).
  • Experience with configuration management or automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Minimum of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals certification

Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills

  • Minimum of LPIC-1 or Linux+ certification
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with ServiceNow

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $192,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
