Responsible for collaborating with clients to configure software solutions in pre-production and production environments.

Role Overview

As a Solution Delivery Consultant, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients by delivering, configuring, and supporting technology solutions that drive real business outcomes. This role blends technical problem-solving, clear and effective communication, and hands-on implementation work. You will translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical stakeholders while ensuring solutions are configured, tested, and adopted successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Consulting

  • Communicate effectively with clients through written documentation, presentations, and verbal interactions to explain system functionality, implementation progress, and issue resolution.
  • Translate technical concepts and system behaviors into language that non-technical users can understand and apply.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, navigating complex discussions and conflict situations to achieve shared business goals.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure solution adoption and client confidence.

Solution Implementation & Problem Solving

  • Prepare and execute system configuration, build, testing, and conversion activities using the established implementation methodology.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, integration, and data issues across a variety of client environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional internal teams to resolve complex issues and manage escalations effectively.
  • Identify, document, and communicate solution status, risks, and issues to clients and project leadership.

Analysis, Testing & Training

  • Assist clients and project teams with current-state analysis of workflows and operational processes.
  • Perform system testing and validate configurations to ensure functionality meets client requirements.
  • Support end-user training and provide guidance on best practices to maximize solution value.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, create efficiencies, and enhance implementation methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for standard processes, best practices, and client-specific configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare IT, systems implementation, technology consulting, or a similar client-facing delivery role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to client needs

Technical Skills

  • Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of databases and data structures
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with SQL (writing basic queries, analyzing data, troubleshooting issues)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
  • Experience within healthcare or the Netsmart client industries(clinical, human services, long term care, senior living, etc)
  • Experience with Netsmart EHR solutions
  • Experience within Netsmart client industries (clinical, human services, long-term care, senior living, etc.)
  • General conceptual understanding of AI and automation in the consulting or solution delivery space (e.g., data-driven insights, workflow optimization, intelligent automation)

Expectations & Work Environment

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, as needed
  • Ability to work onsite in Overland Park, KS
  • Ability to support clients across multiple time zones, including occasional extended or nontraditional work hours
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing consulting environment
