Job Description

We are currently hiring a Full Time Shopper Marketing Specialist *hybrid in Boston, MA.

The Shopper Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the development and success of Shopper Marketing campaigns across multiple media and retail platforms. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Shopper Marketing and will work closely with the commercial marketing team to ensure seamless integration, execution and optimization of shopper and channel marketing programs.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

What You'll Brew:



  • Working in partnership with the Shopper marketing lead, this role will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning and development of POS assets for Tier 1/Tentpole programs and other shopper or commercial marketing led retail campaigns.
  • Ensure that all creative assets are delivered on time and meet requirements for different POS and media channels and are commensurate with brand and comms strategy.
  • Support the end-to-end campaign setup and launch across relevant media platforms and near/in-store touchpoints including but not limited to in-store displays, websites, mobile apps, media, etc.
  • In collaboration with Brand Marketing and Commercialization, support the development of tactical plans and design of in-store marketing assets to drive channel, shopper and customer programs.
  • Alongside Commercialization and Procurement teams, manage against timelines to deliver marketing assets on time in support of brand campaigns, including review of samples, creation of POs, compilations of quantities and all process management details
  • Partner with cross functional teams to recap and drive evaluation and optimization of Brand/Shopper Marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate across Commercial Marketing team to ensure CEG's and other related selling and communication materials are complete and will lead to executional excellence.


What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of Shopper, Field or Trade Marketing experience, preferably in Beverage Alcohol.
  • Experience working with National Accounts, Strategic customers and/or sales leaders in the development of trade or regional programs.
  • Experience managing marketing programs and working with creative teams (internal or external) to develop assets or campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver assets and/or commercialize programs.


Level: 7

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $50,500 and $106,600. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
